  Animals We Know And Love:

Acero Marka's Frivolous

Acero Marka's Frivolous was a beautiful  full Bolivian grand dam..  Our Frivolous has mothered some of the countries most elite herdsires such as Cater-B and Major-B.  Her offspring grace the show circuit in Canada and the U.S.  Friv's fleece was gorgeous with very crimpy fiber and was a brilliant white...that was when she wasn't rolling in the dust pile. Her aloof and aristocratic demeanor belied her true sweet, playful and caring nature.

Zacharia C

Zacharia C full peruvian and beautiful medium fawn*COLOR CHAMPION HALTER**~~2003 Northern Illinois Alpaca Extravaganza
1st Place~~2003 Halter IAOBA
Easy going personality  so well halter trained and poise that draws your eye, our Zach stands out in a crowd.

Good things come to those who wait.  We've  waited for this young maiden to find just the right gentleman to settle her this spring after shearing.  We think our Zach is the perfect match.

These boys were rescued after being abused terribly.  They are fiber animals that cannot be registered or bred which is a shame because Black Jack has  one of the most perfect conformations and gorgeous true black color.  Damien is a prankster and loves to look out the barn window as if he is waiting for the trailer to pull away.  They fight as much as they hang out together like those roommates that just know each other too long.  Black Jack is the first one to greet company and in spite of the abusive background he loves people.  That's him on the front page smiling and kissing Ben our three month old Godson.

PPeruvian SnowQueen

Maiden, "Queenie" is the sweetheart of the pastures.  She's our young sweet thing that struts and poses for the guys.  Her micron count was 19.1 in 2007, Her beautiful blue eyes pop against her bright white fiber.

Black Jack and Damien:

"The Odd Couple"

Sir William Wallace

Wally as he's called at the ranch has the most hypnotic big black "doe" eyes with eyelashes that  are wasted on such a future stud and male.  He's still a bit shy at his age but that's OK because the girls can't take their eyes off from him.   Queenie, and Wally can often be seen kissing through the fence.  Wally's coverage and density of fiber are second to none.

Zane and Diablo Blanco in the background, with Noble Noah hanging together in the barn pasture on a beautiful August Day.

We have video of Rose's complete birth on the Ranch Life page!

Mr. Chip's Angela Rose her first day on the ranch.  She weighed 17.5 lbs at birth and she was up and running in no time at all!

Proud Mom, Snoball and Rose on her first day this picture was taken just minutes after she first stood up.  Alpacas take about 30 minutes before they are up on their feet, feeding and ready to move on with the herd.  Other herd members come and touch noses to greet and see the new comer.

Below is Rose at about 3 months with Queenie and Frivolous in the background on a fall afternoon.
